Sofia Coco is a Canadian visual artist and illustrator based in California. Sofia's art is inspired by movement, expression and the natural world. Working digitally and traditionally, her work ranges from graphic and informational to illustrative and fantastical. With one foot in science and the other in creativity, Sofia has worked for scientists as well as everyday art-lovers. In her free time, she creates highly detailed surreal portraits of animals as well as playful cartoony drawings of characters she designs.
